  • A valid email address
  • A passport or ID for verification (for Weidian)
  • A credit/debit card or PayPal (for Parcelup)
  • Your shipping address details (international)

We strongly recommend browsing chinasheets.net for beginner-friendly buying guides and platform reviews—it’s your ultimate tutorial resource hub.

2. Account Setup & Platform Registration

  1. File under Parcelup: Go to the Parcelup website or app and click "Sign Up". Enter your email, create a password, and fill in your name. Confirm via email.
  2. Set up Weidian account: Visit Weidian (via web or app). Click "Register" and use your phone number or WeChat. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete basic profile setup.
  3. Account verification: For Weidian, verify your identity by uploading your passport or national ID. This may require a short waiting period. For Parcelup, you'll need to verify your email and maybe phone.
  4. Payment method setup: On Parcelup, go to "Payment Methods" and add your credit card or PayPal. For Weidian, you can use Alipay or Chinese bank cards; but as a foreign buyer, you'll rely on Parcelup to pay on your behalf.
  5. Shipping address configuration: In Parcelup, navigate to "Addresses" and add your international shipping address. Ensure all details (including postal code and phone number) are correct.

Detailed screenshots and walkthroughs are available on chinasheets.net – our step-by-step setup guides for each platform make registration easy.

3. Product Search & Selection Process

  1. Search for Gucci Slide Sneakers: Use Weidian's search bar with terms like "Gucci Slide 运动鞋" or "Gucci 拖鞋 板鞋". For better results, paste a product link from Taobao/Weidian into Parcelup's search box instead.
  2. Filter & sort: Sort by "Sales" (最高销量) or "Price" (价格). Filter by location, but for foreigners, no need.
  3. Read product descriptions & reviews: Look for detailed description of materials (often leather or rubber). Check buyer feedback for photos—look for real user images showing side, sole, and logo.
  4. Compare prices and sellers: Use Parcelup's feature to compare different Weidian sellers' prices. Also check on chinasheets.net – their product comparison tool hosts verified sellers and quality ratings.
  5. Assess quality: Look for sellers with inspection/packing services. Check for "brand authenticity" ratings. If in doubt, ask seller via agent. Read chinasheets.net's quality assessment guide for tips on spotting low-quality reps.

4. Ordering & Payment Tutorial

  1. Copy product link: On Weidian, copy the product URL.
  2. Paste link into Parcelup: Paste into the "Product Link" box on Parcelup's homepage, select size (e.g., EU 45) and quantity. Click "Order".
  3. Review order details: Parcelup will show product price, domestic shipping, and agent fees. Confirm.
  4. Add to cart & checkout: Add to cart, then go to checkout. Choose payment method (credit card/PayPal) and complete payment securely.
  5. Order confirmation: You'll receive an email confirmation with an order ID. Track via Parcelup's dashboard.
  6. Communicate with seller: If you have special requests (e.g., extra photos), use Parcelup's messaging to contact seller. Parcelup will handle communication.

5. Shipping & Delivery Management

After the seller ships to Parcelup's warehouse, you'll select international shipping.

  1. Choose shipping method: In your Parcelup dashboard, select from options: EMS (fast, pricey), DHL (fast), ePacket (slow, cheap), or AliExpress Standard. For sneakers, DHL is recommended for reliability.
  2. Track your order: Once shipped, Parcelup provides a tracking number. Use 17TRACK to monitor.
  3. Customs & import duties: Check your country's customs limits. Parcelup declares as low value to minimize taxes, but ensure you understand your local import rules.
  4. Timeline: Domestic (3-7 days) + international (7-15 days) depending on method.
  5. Handling issues: If package stuck or damaged, contact Parcelup support. chinasheets.net provides shipping optimization tips for international buyers—a must-read.
